The spring equinox is the mid-way point between winter and summer solstice and marks the beginning of spring. Day and night are of equal length. Recalibrating to the natural rhythms of the earth is essential for our growth and creation. In all ancient cultures, this transition of the seasons is celebrated as an important crossroad for renewal. As daylight starts to increase in North America, spring equinox brings forth light, life and new beginnings. It represents the balance of dark and light, yin and yang, and equilibrium in our lives. It is a time of renewal ~ to move forward to create in fresh, new ways.

We invite you to join us online for a ceremonial event with world renowned curandera, Vilma Pinedo. Vilma will be joining us live, directly from the Andes in Peru. Indigenous wisdom and insights for our times and the equinox will be shared. Ashera will guide you on a meditation journey to connect with the new seeds and intentions you are growing. Vilma will offer a healing and balancing Despacho ceremony of gratitude for you and our earth.

The Ayni despacho is a traditional ceremony from the high Andes of Peru, to bring us into a state of harmony, reciprocity and balance to give back to Mother Earth (Pachamama) and other spirits (organizing principles of the Universe). The ceremony invites old energy to be
cleared and new energy to enter. The wisdom keepers of the Andes have been doing these healing ceremonies for the earth for centuries and this is an opportunity for you to directly participate during this extraordinary time of transformation in our world. It is time for us to
dream our world into being.

Vilma will be creating a beautiful Despacho offering mandala with us as we focus our intentions for Right Relationship with our lives and Mother Earth at this time. We will blow our intentions and gratitude into the flowers, leaves and offerings which Vilma is assembling. As the mandala grows with each offering it will encircle us with the energy of transformation. This is a ceremony in which we will clear out the old energy and weave new energetic threads into our prayers. The shamanic teachings and practices shared during this ceremony will bring us healing, balance and strength to illuminate ourselves.  

The Despacho brings the energies of manifestation into full realization by blending a deeply personal inner experience with the power intention, and weaving gratitude for all that is with a dreaming into what wants to be.  We do this so that we may carry the sense of balance and harmony out into our community and the world.
 

The wisdom of the indigenous traditions brings a spiritual message for our times - we are in a time of awakening - and it is our responsibility to anchor in our own connection to the Earth, Wisdom, Spirit and Source.
